Sekas International has been in the fur and outerwear business for over 50 years. With its roots in manufacturing furs for discriminating retailers around the world, that same tradition of excellence holds true till this day. A privately held, second generation, family owned business, Sekas International has diversified over the years adding a private clientele division, and service department to accommodate the growing list of customers who appreciate finely crafted garments.

Originally a private-label producer of fine American mink garments, we quickly became known for being very selective of the pelts and materials being used to craft the sophisticated looks that exclusive salons were looking for. With European design influences, we created modern fashions for many of the finer establishments.

Over the years we added different furs to our product line while continuing our specialty in fine mink. With the introduction of outerwear to our now established lines, we blended the natural beauty of fur with the precious fabrics used today.

In 1990, using our expertise in manufacturing, we created our service department. Starting with restyling and remodeling, we added repairs, cleaning, and cold storage.

In 1995, with the passing of our customer Harvey Berger of Berger Brothers, a second generation furrier, we acquired a list of individual customers who came to expect honesty and individual attention when selecting their garments. And thus, we established our direct-to-consumer private clientele division.

In 2000, another long-time customer of ours, Irving Steinbach, of Louis Steinbach Son, also a second generation furrier, retired from his 80 year old firm, allowing us to further add to our customer base.

Even with our sustained growth over the years, the one thing that remained clear, was our commitment to excellence in quality, craftsmanship, and service.
